Well, it took using Speed Bleeders at the Slave cylinder and Fender line, also manually pumping the slave cylinder to move the air out of it. BUT, I swear the big difference was bleeding the system with the car running! For some reason, results with the engine off were mediocre at best, with a mushy pedal, and clutch engagement only 1mm from the floor the best I could achieve. With the engine running, the system was successfully bled in about 5 minutes! Go figure! It seemed to push a lot more hydraulic fluid a lot faster that way. Any explanations? How does the clutch power booster/engine running enter into the picture? (If at all). I'm just happy it all finally worked out and the car is drivable again......although I missed the Z nationals at Z1 this weekend because of all this. :(
