Actually, I adjusted the idle after the IAC clean and it now idles at 700+. With the AC on the idle predictably goes up somewhat. Did ecu diagnostics and got code 55. I also retightened the four bolts that hold the IAC to the plenum. Upon re-driving, still getting 13-14 psi on my autometer boost gauge. Was at clearly boosting at 15 psi before the clean.That said, the car drives great and engine doesn't hunt for rpm although it just feels slightly less powerful than before. As a driver, you just know this sensation. As per your comment: how are idle and boost linked? Also, do hose clamps lose their grip over time, allowing leaks? The hoses to and fro the IAC appear fine. I'm not the most mechanically inclined. Thank you.
