Message	You could remove the EGR as many have. If you don't have a CA car you shouldn't have any CEL issues. Also, are you sure the EGR pipes are clogged? Not sure how familiar you are with them, but they exit out the sides of the tubes inside the intake (the tops are capped) If that is the vacuum line that goes to the EGR diaphragm, you don't need to cap it off.
