I should clarify though, that while there is 1 main orange power wire and 1 main white ground wire going to the pump, they each split at the connectors. So if you disconnect the pump controller and look at the plug, it will have 2 orange wires, 2 white wires, and a few other colors depending on tt or na model. Supple +12 to either orange, and ground either white and it should turn on, just be careful of over heating the wires as you'll only be using ~1/2 of the designed wire thickness.
