Message	Of course you can go aftermarket. At the time I had an extra OEM cooler and as you know not a lot of room to work with. Also saw 20 degree cooler trans temp with cooler spaced out front versus comparable size AM cooler nylocked to radiator. Flushing ? Come-On Man !! lol. Fill cooler 2 or 3 times with Simple Green, shake well, let sit for 5 min, flush with water till clear. Drain,blow dry.
