I have had one that was so bad that the car literally felt like it was hitting a rev limiter at 3500-4000rpm, the motor seemed totally fine and pulled right up to that point before falling flat on its face. Turned out I missed a hardpipe t-bolt clamp and left it way loose. I have driven a TT before that had one down by the compressor where the power just felt like it tapered off strongly as rpms climbed and the car felt anemic. Other boost leaks I have had that I didn't even realize were affecting the car's performance at all until they got sealed up. These were small ones here and there, which is very common. Probably everybody here has dealt with these at some point or another, some more than others.
