Message	The problem was ridiculously simple: When I unraveled the electrical tape around the positive battery cable, I found that all the ring connectors for the smaller cables (to the fusible link block, etc.) were rusted beyond belief. I pulled them all apart, spent a few minutes with the sanding block to make 'em all shiny copper again, and BAM! Power flowing to the electrical system.
