Just to make sure about the sparking issue, there are three wire sets for the alternator. One with a plug, and two with a ring terminal. One is ground (smaller ring) and one is power. Is it possible you hooked the ground wire up to the alternator positive post? The coil packs get power through the smaller connector near the relay box (6 pin). I would check these things (key forward): -Verify signal is being output to the coil relay/ECCS relay (Orange wire, 6 pin connector by relay box), if no, check ECU/Wiring continuity. -Verify power being supplied to coil relay (Remove relay, test socket) -Verify power is being output from the coil relay (black wire, small 6 pin connector by relay box). -Verify power is being output from ECCS relay (White wire opposite the black, coil relay output wire on the 6 pin connector)
If everything checks out: -Ground problem, check coil pack ground location If not, dig down at the point it missed, check fuses.
