Subject	Antenna Switch/Wiring Question

Message	I've installed an aftermarket radio in my 93 Z and I'd like to be able to control whether the antenna is up or down. I've searched extensively, but not finding anything more specific than "should be a simple splice of the blue wire". I tried that before the harness connection (#1 on the picture) but that killed the radio functionality altogether. Not sure if anyone can tell me more by looking at the picture. #2 & #3 were also candidates for splicing, but I'd rather not hack it all up just guessing. Any help is appreciated.
