Subject	Hydraulic Lifter Keeping Valve Open

Message	Bought 24 new hydraulic lifters. Some are causing valves to stay open (even after letting them sit for days). Is that something that will fix itself as the engine runs? Also noticed that the problem lifters have about half the travel as the other lifters Engine had good compression before, with the same heads, but never really performed a lead down test. TYA
