Message	the low pressure switch opens if you don't have enough freon. You can try jumpering this switch to see if your compressor kicks on. It is a bad idea to bypass this low pressure switch permanently. Also, you don't have a thermo switch on your evaporator. You have a suction throttle valve, which maintains a minimum pressure at the evaporator to prevent freeze-up. This likely isn't your problem.
