Message	you. If the compression looks "off", I'll often try warming it up, and numbers never seem to change much. I've had the same results doing leak down tests. So in my experience, more often than not, warmed up makes little difference. The only time I could see temperature being a major factor is in the case of a marginal head gasket seal, or valve stem height being on the edge of out of spec.
