Message	How many miles on it? You jumped the gun by pulling the heads off. You should have done a compression and leak down test before you removed anything. Now we will be guessing. BTW your knock sensor sub-harness looks like it has seen better days. Better replace it now while its easy to do. Burning oil is usually blue, black smoke indicates over-fuelling condition most of the time.
