It's hard to judge changes that an oil makes. I've been running it for years, both on NA and TT engines. My NA would usually have a bit of valve train noise on startup with Mobil 1, a few lifter ticks, but that went away with the Rotella. My TT engine had a lot of oil buildup when I put it in. I cleaned as much as I could but didn't do a full rebuild. The Rotella has cleaned up the inside of the engine quite a bit. There are a lot of additives (like ZDDP) that our older engines like that modern oils have gotten rid of or have less of, but the Rotella still has.
