Message	I think that any hose would work temporarily but due to the location of these hoses and their exposure to heat I like the multi- core silicon should they accidentally rub and the silicon has better breakdown resistance to heat. If this is a temporary repair sure it would work but I personally prefer to get the best product for the application. Dependent upon the hose It could be difficult to access. FYI...There are other sources of silicon hoses besides Z1 but they were my choice. My standard disclaimer, I am not a automotive expert especially when it comes to these Z's ( but I'm learning quickly lol). There are far better experts with great opinions that will probably reply in the near future. Good luck
