However if you install it as shown in your second diagram, without the boost solenoid installed you will see 7 psi boost (maybe a tiny bit more) due to having no pressure relief. Also, as far as safety boost solenoids go, I recommend removing them with an EBC and using the trigger wire to activate a relay to cut power to your aftermarket boost solenoid (assuming its a NO solenoid, provide power to NC solenoids). This will retain the safety boost function while removing all the excess vacuum lines.
