Message	limiting resistor? The pod guages already had those resistors installed - so all would be good there with regular Red LEDs. Dome (incandescent) light bulbs need a lot more current so just wiring in basic LEDs could case issues if current limiting resistors weren't added or the LEDs for the dome light didn't have them already built-in ... Have you checked fuses?
