Message There seem to be several different "optimal" strategies floating around for this process so I am looking for some input from someone who has done it and successfully recalibrated the needles. The most promising method I found was posted by Ash: "If someone tells you that they are hard to remove, they are doing it the wrong way. The needle motors have stops in them that keep them from going a full 360 round. You turn them to their stops, mark it, and then continue to twist while pulling a little. They come off very easily. If you try to pull them, I dont see how you could get them to come loose without breaking them. Never pull! :-D"

This seems like a sound idea, but I've read a few contradictory methods that talk about turning the needles 2 or 3 rotations and other things that seem like would break any "stops" in their rotation.

Any suggestions are welcome!
