Just got a reply from DVDBURN, saying there's still a ground issue somewhere. I did state in my email to him that I wasn't sure if it was a must-do situation, but at least in my case it fixed the issue. So I guess its sort of a band-aid fix. I'm not sure what causes some folks to need/want a grounding kit. Just noisier cars? But I've checked the 3 engine bay grounds repeatedly thru the process, and can't think of what else could be causing it. If I'm reading the ECCS diagram right, the 10 and 20 pin grounds eventually terminate at the F11 terminal. I've tested both battery voltage and coil pack connector voltage with that ground point. Other than an on again off again code 13, I haven't detected any other systems to not be working.
