Message Anyone that's deleted( read that some have) the fuel damper have wideband readings after?
Reason I ask is on my old 1j single car, deleting the damper on a Toyota caused a dramatic drop/lean spot at 3000 rpms, and immead woke up after 3200-3300 rpms and wondering does/could this motor do the same.

I'd love to clean and get rid of it if someone has concrete readings that it had no significance or change in the mixture.

Just got retuned for 550's and plan to get a tomei/SARD fpr and move it out of the way,...would love to do the same and clean up the balance tube. My Car runs rough after getting everything hooked back up and after diagnosing 2 bad coils it seems ( just like that) their has to be a better way to access injector connectors and all that. Sorry. I'm ranting.

Let me know what you wideband owner guys have seen. Sure most may have tuned out the lean spot if it had one, but my old car,...you couldn't add enough fuel - so it seems it serves a purpose from my experience.
Btw. I do not have a wideband at the moment on my Z.
