but every time I tried that trick I beat the absolute crap out of the part I was hitting, and a puller is nice when you don't have space to swing a hammer. ZXrider, the puller is pretty cheap- you can find them at your local autoparts store
This is what mine looks like, it makes it very easy...... or you can hit it with a hammer if you prefer.
