| Hey guys. I recently got my swap running and to a point where I can legally drive it again. So here's the problem. When I cold start my car she starts great and idles strong. All cylinders fire and there doesn't seem the be any problems. After driving for about 20-30 min my z starts to misfire, it loses spark in cyl 5 and gets weak spark through a few more. I know it is spark related because all my injectors are working and so is the cas, also the cloud/smell of unburnt fuel from the exhaust. I recently got a used new style PTU because with the old style one I would have a random misfire when the car was fully warm and would not be able to track it down by cylinder. Now the misfire is happening in certain cylinders. I did a power balance test after installing/wiring the new style ptu and all cylinders were firing so I'm pretty sure I wired it correctly. The last time I drove the car it didn't misfire until about 30min into my drive when I hit full boost (stock). I'm not sure where I go from here. Thinking it may be the harness, it's not in the best condition but it didn't look too bad. When I mess the the wires connected to the coil it starts to change the sound but not much and still doesn't make cyl 5 fire when hot, if anyone has any thoughts please share, I want to exhaust my options before I tear apart the harness looking for any problems. I checked all my coils and they read 1.0 ohm. Background info: 5speed jdm engine/ecu/harness 90 na auto chassis New o2s 120k done Injectors all ohm within spec Cas fires all injectors New spark plugs New alternator Diy Ground kit Thanks in advance or any help!
