| Hello there, need help troubleshooting this problem that seems to be getting worse. I have one of those K&N air filters on my 1990 NA, it was pretty dirty when i cleaned it, used the KN cleaning kit, let it dry and put ir back on the car, after driving the car for a bit i noticed that my car was idling higher than usual. It was idling @ 1500 to 1700, after i noticed this..I tried to isolate the problem by looking for vacuum leaks.... didnt find any checked the gas pedal cable to see if for some reason the cable was getting stuck....nada clean the mass air flow sensor, with a electrical sensor cleaning spray...nada I have also replace the temperature sensor that goes to the ECU, no luck!! ....now the engine starts idle funny at random times, it goes from 1500 to 2000 bouncing back and forth, then goes back to 1500rpm and stays there stedy.....any thoughts? i have no idea what else should i check... thank u
