Subject	Gas tank pressure release system

Message	Does anyone know if the 300ZX gas tank has a pressure release system? I had my car out this weekend in record temperatures for us here in Charlotte (including setting in an open parking lot for about five hours) and when I got home, the car made a hissing sound for about an hour after it was shut off. As I understand it, once the car is shut off the fuel system is not longer being pressurized so the only think that I can figure is that it was venting pressure from the fuel tank itself. There definetly was a smell of fuel but when I started it up the next morning everything was fine and I couldn't detect any fuel leaks. Also, there was no evidence of a coolant leak either which is what I thought the sound might be coming from. Just curious if there is some type of gas tank pressure release system on our cars.
