Message	my 98 spec worked good for about 1200 miles then started whining. Changed fluid, helped a little. Then one day it just stuck in third. took the trans a part and shifted fine when bell housing was off, once put back on wouldn't shift out of third. Literally beat on it with a hammer (lol) and it started working again. 2 weeks later 3rd and 4th syncros shot. Transmission is garbage, don't believe the hype.
