I was thinking about the CAS pin after I read in your profile that you had JWT cams. The engine will suffer no harsh results from this, but you can't play with your timing as much. I have side by side pics somewhere, I'll try to dig them up. If you have access to an o-scope you check the CAS signal to rule that out. Also, the timing belt may be installed correctly, but with adjusable cam gears, are they indexed properly?
