i read somewhere that the VTC gears arent rebuildable, the VTC gears ive got are used from my friends old NA motor that ran good with no vtc noises. he upgraded to a tt so he's been parting out the motor. Personally i wanna try to replace the springs first since it seems to have worked out for some people before, i dont really wanna mess around with pulling the timing belt out and all of that since im not that good at that kinda stuff (timing belts :) ) i will let you know
