I thought for sure the plugs would do it. But there is obviously something else that isn't right. I've got some other ideas, but they would be like grasping at straws at this point. Where is your CAS positioned? Bolts should be almost center of the slot. Also when timing it, the line should be steady, or very close to steady. A dirty CAS can also cause problems, as well as a mis-aligned CAS pin. Might be worth taking a look at. If you have access to ConZult take a look at the O2's and coolant temp sensor. I wouldn't necessarily associate these with idle issues, but it's some where to look.
