Subject	Loud ticking and no power. Need help.

Message	I just bought a 1990 n/a 2+2 knowing it had a bad motor. Theres a loud ticking/ knocking sound when ideling and driving. There is no power at all. Top speed is around 25mph. When I pull the connectors off ( one at a time ) the coil packs there is no change on the front passanger side. All others the idel gets worse. The ticking sound seems to be coming from the upper part on the motor and not the bottom end. Could a bad coil pack or crank angle sensor be couse of this ? I would hate to buy a new motor if this is repairable.
