As I mentioned the feramic disk has nothing to do with the problem you are having as others are insinuating. Yes it can slow shifts very slightly due to the slightly heavier disk but your clutch is simply not releasing all the way and is why your shifts are hard and you cannot get the car in gear easily. The feramic disk will not cause your issue.
Your problem could be a multitude of reasons and we will figure it out. If it does happen to be something related to the clutch kit itself I will get it taken care of for you even though it has been almost 3 years since purchase.
After I get the info asked for we can go further in diagnosing your problem.
