but all gears are stiff/hard to get into. It feels like there's a bump-stop between each gear (especially first to second) unless I let the rpms drop before I try to go from neutral to the gear. What I have to do is: try to shift into the gear, it stops me, so I go slightly back toward neutral position and then back into the gear. It doesn't grind when I do this, but it does slow down shifting a ton. The other thing: if I try to shift straight from one gear to the next and don't go back to neutral when you hit the 'bump-stop', if you hold the rpms, the car does not go into gear. If you let the rpms drop, the car does go into gear. If I force it into the gear, it has a lot of restraint, but it does go in and usually doesn't grind. This is for any gear. If I shift from 5th to 4th fast/hard, it grinds the gear.
