Subject	Syncros bad or clutch dragging?

Message	I have very stiff shifting and grinding sometimes, and I am thinking the syncros are shot. But I have also had air in the clutch lines and have had an awful time getting it out. Now that I think I have the air all gone finally, I am wondering if there's a way to tell for sure that the clutch isn't dragging/determine if my syncros are shot. I've tried adjusting my clutch close to the floor and far away from the floor and it doesn't appear to change the shifting problem. Is this a sure sign that the syncros are trashed? Oh, and if they're trash, let me know if you think I should rebuild the trans or get a new one.
