Message I was checking my timing today with the timing light inductive hookup on the first coilpack wire. I set my timing to 16.5 degrees as I am running 93 octane gas and my car is a NA.

Anyway, I tried increasing the throttle slowly to see if the timing mark would move. It stayed on 16.5 degrees until well over 2000 rpm though. Once it reached about 2500 rpm, the timing mark jumped to 33-35 degrees. Is this normal? Would a bad CAS cause the timing mark to jump like this or could there be something else that is causing this issue?

Thanks
