Message	driving a silver '96 TT that the owner had replaced the engine harness with a '95 or older harness so he could run a JWT chip in the older style ECU. Not sure if that's the only way to do it, or even if there is a chip available for the 96's, but it would get you to where you want to be, if not cheaply or easily.
