| From what I have read.... that is a classic sign of a bad CAS, that is IF you are checking the timing directly on #1 as opposed to the loop wire on the PTU. I read a post by one guy who said that when his cas went bad, it was because the seal inside dried up and turned to dust which flew around inside the CAS blocking the ability for it to read when it should fire. He had picks of what came out of it, it kinda looked like graphite powder. They can be rebuilt, but I don't know that I'd want to try it....
