Subject	My '90 TT won't go past 5k rpm?

Message	I got a new 300zx TT and when I test drove it, I guess I didn't do it hard enough... but anyway, I have noticed the car will not go past 5000 rpm when accelerating. Is this a safe mode that is allowed on the car or could it be a different problem? Once I hit 5000 rpm it just doesn't go any higher. If its safe mode, whats the easiest way to take that off?
