hey guys, i dont ask to many questions on here as most are answered using the search function but, here goes. car is a 1990 jdm tt auto 2 seater with 128000kms. parked during winter in my garage i did a bunch of work to it including injectors, egr delete, intake water bypass, stock solenoids removed, front big brake kit and aftermarket flex plate. after getting everything finished the car has very little drive in any gear (major slipping) . did the diagnostic on the tranny and got 10 equal flashes. fluid level checked and is fine and new. stock flex plate was cracked and was the reason for replacing, but tranny was fine in the fall when parked. oh and another thing, after warming the car up, i noticed the tranny pan warm but both cooler lines cold. pretty much all of the oil in the tranny was drained when it was removed in the fall. finally my question. does the auto tranny have to be primed in any way? it seems like there is no pressure. but remember the car drove fine before parking it. thanks dan.
