Subject	AC question, if the compressor blows and all freon

Message	is gone and compressor needs replacing, is this a DIY for a good back yard guy? My buds z spewed from compressor, looking into the parts we want to do compressor dry expansion valve and do a flush. But have seen where you need to do a vacuum pull to totally rid of moisture, is that totally needed? If so may let the pros do it as we have no way to do that.
