About a week ago, I cold started my car just fine, but when I would shut it off and want to go again it wouldnt start up up untill it was sitting for 20 min and it slowly got worse. There would just be a wure wure wure of the starter and a few small backfire.
Now today while on freeway in stop/go traffic, it started to hesitate badly in 1st and 2nd gear and then stalled out on me and had to call a flat bed tow.
I have read that it could be the battery dieing (which it isnt since all the lights and radio still work just fine), the starter relay getting hot and wearing down, or injector failure.
Im starting to lean more tword injector failure because after cranking the motor for maybe 5-7 sec, I smell fuel (none leaking out from what i see tho) and I get a small backfire pop sometimes.
If anyone has anything more I would appreciate the help
