Message I have poly urethane FLCA bushings. Ya I figured it would wear them out if I didn't use "Nixit blocks" and torque to spec on unladen conditions.

I didn't even want to even try it this way because I know you always want to torque down on the nut. But I tried torquing the bolt head directly (without the use of an extension) while having a braced wrench on the nut between frame member and steering rack. The torque wrench would never engage and the nut would just get crazy tight on there.

I don't want to just guess at what 94 ft-lb feels like. I also don't want to reverse the way Nissan set the bolt and nut.
