Message Ok fellas. Here's what i've recently replaced via the drivetrain:

-OEM tranny mount
-One piece driveshaft
-Differential bushings (pain in the ass)

Basically, once the car is warm (after a 20+ min drive) if I stop at a stop light, and take off in first gear I'll get a drivetrain shake coming from below/behind me. Shortly after I release the clutch, the shaking goes away and doesn't happen at all anymore, in any other gear or any speed.

I did a ton of research and then replaced the tranny mount, thinking it was sagging, the driveshaft, thinking it was the carrier bearing. Still did the same thing.

So I finally had time to install my new ES diff bushings which I thought would solve the problem. Ended up making a difference with the feel of the driveline, but didn't solve the shake. At this point I was about to tear up. :p

The "drivetrain shake" is worse when starting up from a slope. It doesn't always do it, if I give it enough gas I can get it to not shake from time to time. Probably 60% of the time when the car has been driven for a while.

I'm sure many of you will say it's clutch chatter or what not. My clutch feels great, it was replaced 15k ago with a OEM clutch kit. The clutch makes some clunking noises when pressing in at low speeds, or in reverse. It's not slipping at all.

I repeat: The shake only happens after the car has been driven on the highway for a period of time, getting off at the exit and stopping at a light, it will do it when I take off.

The only thing I can think of is subframe bushings? If so, would the spacers solve the problem or would new solid/poy bushings be the best bet...

Could it be the diff fluid needing a flush? I have not changed it since ownership.

Thanks guys!
-Adam
