it is raining today so i didnt get to do a lot but i have learned that most of the time if i start the car with overdrive off the transmission check light doesnt blink and i start in first gear. it will shift into second gear but not into third. if i turn the overdrive on it will shift into third gear but not into fourth but as soon as it shifts back into second when i slow down it is stuck in second gear again and will not downshift or upshift. the rare occasion that i start the car and the at check light doesnt come on and the overdrive is on the transmission shifts fine through all gears. any idea? im thinking that it may be a sensor of sorts. also i cannot seem to get the transmission to run diagnostics.
