a quick search didnt show up anything that related to my situation. my auto tranny doesnt shift from second gear. by that i mean it starts in second gear instead of first and it doesnt shift into third. the only way i can get it to go into first is to put it in D1. i do this so i have some pick up and go when im first starting to go ie at a light then i shift into D2 or D and it only shifts into second gear but no high. same thing when im decelerating, it doesnt down shift. any ideas as to what is causing this? also my at check light flashes 13 or 14 times when i first start the car. i checked the at fluid and i topped it off but nothing has happened. tomorrow is my day off so i plan on attempting to figure this out. first ill be checking the tps then after that ill start the long process of the self diagnostics. any other ideas would be wonderful. sorry for such a long post
