Message Im sorry for a long post but its important.

My clutch is acting up. It started when I installed it.
If i ever hit boost, it would slip. I babyed it arround but it slowly got better...
I went autoX two two weeks ago and every thing worked great.

but last week I went drifting and it started slipping again....
The next day i uped it to DOT4, bleed, and adjusted it. The slip went away aout %95.

A few days ago i went sliding again and it stared slipping again...

Today it felt better and I ran first through fourth up the on ramp with no slippage.... but cruising in 5th it slipped.

I bought a used ORC twin disk, it looks like great life is left.

Any ideas what could cause a clutch to slip intermittenly?

The pedal engaugement sucks. It barely engauges like 1/2" off the floor, but dosn;t lock untill its at the top... If I try lowering it I wont be ablee to put it into gear.

FSM torque specs state 33 ftlbs, I did 40... I could not find the orc specs.

I thought the TOB could be the cause because i had the southbend one.
I ordered the type A orc TOB

The pedal felt softer but not better.

I first started having clutch issues when i chnaged transmissions... It could eb a coinceidince, but it was different. A month after the trans swap, i blew the SB clutch.

Then I thought it may be possible that the disks or the middle plate got mixed up... It would explain why driving it softs seems to improve it.

At this pont I dont know what else to check. I may try tighting down the PP more. I debating on buying a new clutch. Maybe scratching up the discks and rebreaking it back in... moving the slave cylinder closer.... anything.
