Subject	new antenna mast..or all new antenna drive unit?

Message	I removed my antenna mast today because when up, its not rethreading on the motor,and does not retract. When up, then I push down to rethread on motor then it lowers ( almost oll the way) Any advice: do I try a new mast first? I assume the plastic worm wears up to the point where it does not reengage itself. , or forget it and replace entire auto antenna unit. Also, does the new unit include a timer? Mine is ok but curious. Thanks Ferd
