Subject	crankshaft seal

Message	First time posting so please be gentle... I tapped the crankshaft seal into place using a pvc pipe and rubber mallet and then read the part in the faq instructions about it being easy for the seal spring to be dislodged. So now I am paranoid about it. Is there a way to verify whether the seal is still seated or not, it would suck to put everything back together (engine is out of car) and find out that the crank seal leaks.
