| The way the clutch hydraulic system works the master has to have free play. What this means is the master can not have any pressure on it. The master has a small hole at the rear for the fluid to fill the cylinder and also for the fluid to go back into the reservoir as it expands. If the free play is taken out it covers the hole and causes the master to build pressure.....as the fluid expands it will cause the clutch to release more and more the hotter it becomes until it slips......basically the same as keeping your foot part way down on the clutch pedal. I have seen a number of folks adjust the pedal wrong, even Z only shops. The only other issue would be if the rod in the clutch booster was adjusted too long and is putting pressure on the master as soon as it is bolted on. You can check this by removing the master and measuring the the distance the rod sticks out and measuring the the room inside the master. This needs some free play as well. Make sure the pedal is adjusted for some freeplay before checking the master to booster. We have a clutch adjust write up on our site on the Blog page.
