| Ok, you do not have to read this whole thing the main parts are all in caps. Look at all THREE links to understand my first question. The are links to Z1. Ok so here is the deal. MY buddy Just bought a 1990 300zx DETT. On his way home the clutch completely shit the bed. Previous owner said that the clutch needed to be bled. So for the past week I have been trying to fix it and still cannot figure out the problem. Problem #1 - When I got underneath the car, I noticed that the clutch line attached to the slave cylinder had been wrapped with something and was soaked - replaced the line. no luck bleeding the system. While attempting to bleed the system I noticed that fluid never left the master cylinder resevoir. Didn't think anything of it. Problem #2 - Slave cylinder boot looked like it was dry rotting. Took it off to inspect it and the entire assembly fell apart in my hands. - Replaced Slave cylinder - Still no luck. Next, I went and bought a mityvac to try and bleed the system. I attached the the vac to both the lower and upper bleeder valves (not at the same time, lower one first) - still no luck bleeding the system. At this point in time I cannot build preassure in the system nor can I get all the air out of the lines. So I figure there has to be something wrong with the lines. I decided to remove the line from the master cylinder and attach my mityvace to see if i have flow. I did. At this point in time I take notice the resevoir. No matter how many times I pumped the pedal while trying to bleed to system the level never went down. So with the line off the master cylinder I decide to press the clutch to make sure it pushing fluid. Nothing happened. Not a single drop of fluid came out. Problem #3 - Master Cylinder is F'd. Which leads to my next problem Problem #4 - My master cylinder looks like this: [ http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=1120 ] Which if you notice is for a Z32 made after 9/91. The car is a '90. I am assuming it should look like this [ http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=678 ] MY QUESTION IS TO ANYONE WHO HAS RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM. WHICH IS THE CORRECT MASTER CYLINDER? ALSO WHILE I HAD THE CAR ON, I NOTICED THAT THE CLUTCH PEDAL WAS HISSING. SO IS IT POSSIBLE (OR BETTER) TO REPLACE MY CURRENT MASTER CYLINDER WITH THIS ONE (LINK BELOW) TO ELIMINATE THE CLUTCH BOOSTER AND DO I HAVE TO CHANGE THE CLUTCH PEDAL IF I DO SWITCH CYLINDERS? [ http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=679 ] IF ANYONE HAS ELIMINATED THERE CLUTCH BOOSTER ON THEIR TT; dOES IT MAKE THE CLUTCH PEDAL UNBEARABLY STIFF?
