What was funky about the HF gauge? You have two dials. Either both say PSI or one usually says PSI and one says % leakage. In either case, I believe you have to calibrate the leakage with the regulator knob. In any event, I took all 6 readings and am going to take a couple more in the morning once again just to confirm. 1 - 10% 2 - 20% 3 - 8% 4 - 19% 5 - 19% 6 - 20% Keep in mind, this engine could have been sitting for some time. I put a little mystery oil into each spark plug hole. I'm going to check #1 and #3 again, as well as #2 just to see if i get a 10% difference between them. In all cases, I only heard air coming out of the dipstick. There was also a cut tube coming from the oil pan...I heard air there too.
