Message So, you guys probably saw my JDM TT that I posted a few
days ago.

I started to do a leak-down test. I've never used the tester
before, so I followed the instructions to the T. I made sure
the regulator was all the way counter-clockwise. I connected
it to the air compressor @ 100 psi, and then started to turn to
the right until the leakage reading went down to 0% for my
baseline. The problem is, when I set it to 0%, the PSI reads
30. If I go further clockwise, then the PSI increases but the
leakage % will go down even below 0. What's that about?

Moreover, when I connected the tester to the spark plug hose
that was ready, a little escape of air during the connection,
and the leakage # is thrown off anywhere from 10-20%. Only
after I made an almost instant no air-loss connection, did it
seem to give me reasonable numbers. For instance, on try #1,
I got 18%. Next 3 tries showed 30-35%. On my 5th try,
when I made the connection almost instantly, I got 10%.

Any advice would be great.
